Banbury Woods is a neighborhood consisting of 154 single-family homes ranging in size from approximately 2000 square feet to 4400 square feet. Home prices range from the mid-$600s to the low $800s. Most homes have two stories and an attached two-car garage and are situated on large wooded lots. Here is a list of recent home sales.
Building began in Phase I in 1985, and the last home was completed in 2001. The neighborhood has many mature trees. Because it is in the watershed of Falls Lake, most lots are over one acre.
The following base schools serve our community. There are also several charter schools and magnet schools. Due to explosive growth in Wake County, base school reassignments are common. Please check the Wake County public school system website for more information.

Banbury Woods resides outside the Raleigh city limits, so we don’t pay city taxes. Tax rates per $100 of assessed or declared value for Wake County is $.657 per year (for a $500,000 house, this comes out to $3,285).
Directions
Banbury Woods is conveniently located just a few miles from I-540. It is within 30 minutes of downtown Raleigh, 20 minutes from Raleigh-Durham International airport, Research Triangle Park, and parts of Cary and Durham.
From I-540, take the Six Forks Road exit and head north. Go about 1 mile, and turn right on Durant Road. Go about 1/2 mile, and turn left on Brassfield Road. Go about 1-1/2 miles, and the subdivision will be on your left at Pacesferry Road.
There is a second entrance on the east, accessible from Raven Ridge Road. From Falls of Neuse Road, turn North on Raven Ridge Road. Go about 2 miles, and the subdivision will be on your left at Acres Way. Directions to Banbury Woods are available via Google Maps.
